After revisiting “Prometheus” on Bluray I must say this, the film is a beautiful disaster. As a visual science fiction piece I love it, and as a movie that dares to asks big questions about what it is to be human?, where we come from? and what is to be mortal? is very cool. However the movie fails at establishing characters and their motivations, this is the film’s biggest problem.

This is exactly how I feel. The characters were very transparent and campy, which is usually fine when there are other elements that shine through. I guess I was just expecting too much?
